Key Responsibilities
- Maintain precise financial records through thorough analysis of balance sheets and general ledger accounts for all clients.
- Prepare and reconcile monthly financial reports to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Supervise and mentor a dedicated team of bookkeepers, fostering a collaborative work environment to ensure exceptional service delivery.
- Reconcile accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll accounts for multiple clients with attention to detail.
- Manage the filing of sales and other specialized tax returns on behalf of clients, ensuring timely submissions.
- Lead special projects and adapt to the evolving needs of clients effectively.
Required Skills
We seek candidates who possess the following:
- Extensive experience: Minimum of 5 years in professional bookkeeping roles.
- Technical proficiency: Advanced expertise in QuickBooks Online (3-5 years minimum) and strong capabilities in Microsoft Excel.
- Familiarity with technology: Proficient in Microsoft Outlook and Word.
- Strong multitasking abilities: Skilled in managing multiple clients while meeting deadlines.
- Knowledge of payroll: In-depth understanding of auditing and reconciling third-party payroll reports with the general ledger.
